Vehicles set ablaze as gunmen attack broadcast station in Anambra

Unidentified gunmen stormed the Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS), Awada, Onitsha station in the early hours of Monday, May 30.
A building, a corporate bus, and another car belonging to a staff member who had worked overnight were all set ablaze by gunmen suspected of being part of those terrorizing the state for over a year.
No life was lost during the attack, however, the gunmen brutalised the staff they met in the premises, inflicting injuries on them.
As of the time of filling this report, an employee stated that they were being interrogated by security operatives over the attack.
It’s worth noting that Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS), has been supporting the state government on its fight against rampaging gunmen.
