Joseph Van Vicker (born 1st-August-1977), popularly called Van Vicker is an extraordinary talented Ghanaian actor, movie director, and humanitarian.
He also doubles as the chief executive officer of a film production house called Sky + Orange Production. He received two nominations for Best Upcoming Actor and Best Actor in a Leading Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2008.

Early Life & Education
Van Vicker was born in Accra, Ghana, to a Dutch father and Ghanaian/Liberian mother on the 1st of August 1977. He has a sister whose name is Phylicia Anderson. Rumor has it that he has a stepbrother whose name is unknown.
However, his father died when he was six years old. He has often disclosed in interviews that he considers himself a global citizen because he was raised all over the world by his mother.
Due to the early death of his father, Van Vicker has stated that he has a strong bond with his mother and considers her his hero.
Van Vicker attended Mfantsipim School alongside fellow actor Majid Michel. Then he graduated from the African University College of Communications in 2021.
Career
Van Vicker started in the entertainment world on radio as a presenter at Groove 106.3 FM from 1999 to 2000 and Vibe 91.9 FM from 2001 to 2004 and as a television personality for TV3 Ghana from 1997 to 1999, and finally for Metro TV from 2000–2004.

Soon, Van Vicker was cast in his debut film titled Divine Love, but as a supporting character. This film, coincidentally, was also the debut role for fellow soon-to-be popular actors Jackie Appiah and Majid Michel, who appeared in the female and male leads, respectively.
