Meanwhile, Manchester United on Thursday confirmed that Brazilian forward, Ivana Ferreira Fuso, has left their Women’s team to join German side Bayer 04 Leverkusen Women on loan.
Fuso had signed a contract extension with Man United before leaving the club for Bayer.
In a statement via its website, Man United said, “Manchester United Women can confirm that Ivana Ferreira Fuso will spend the 2022/23 season on loan at German side Bayer 04 Leverkusen Women, after signing a contract extension with United until the end of the 2023/24 season.
“The Brazilian international joined United in the summer of 2020 and has made 21 appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals in the process – including a memorable strike in our Continental League Cup victory over Manchester City at Leigh Sports Village in November 2021.”
