Former Vice-president, Atiku Abubakar today, 30 May, visited Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, at his Abuja residence.

This is following the emergency of Atiku Abubakar, as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate.

It would be recalled that Atiku emerged the winner in the contest that took place at the Velodrome Complex of the Moshood Kashimawo Abiola Stadium, Abuja, on Saturday, May 28.

The former Vice President polled 371 votes to defeat his closest challenger Nyesom Wike, who had 237 votes to his name.

The meeting was also attended by former Ekiti State Governor and PDP presidential aspirant, Ayodele Fayose, amongst other PDP chieftains.
