Parents evacuate their wards from an Abuja Federal Government College over security fears (video)
Parents besieged a Unity school in Abuja to pick their wards over rising insecurity fears.
The Federal Ministry of Education had directed Federal Government Colleges (FGCs) located in the FCT to close and immediately evacuate students.
The directive is reportedly a result of threat to the lives, security and well-being of the students.
The schools were asked to vacate latest on Wednesday, July 27, 2022.
On Monday, July 25, 2022 parents thronged to a Federal Government College in Abuja to pick their wards.
