Bandits kidnap former Permanent Commissioner of Zamfara State Independent Electoral Commission

Bandits have kidnapped the former Permanent Commissioner of Zamfara State Independent Electoral Commission (ZASIEC) Hon Sanusi Wanzamai Sanusi.
Sanusi was abducted on Monday evening, June 6, 2022 at Gidan-Giye village, along Gusau-Tsafe -Wanzamai Road in Zamfara.
It was gathered that the ex-electoral commissioner was kidnapped alongside his younger brother.
According to reports, the victims were trying to repair their car which developed a mechanical fault along the road when the bandits emerged from the forest and whisked them away.
