NBTE Approves Accreditation Of Eight ND Courses in Fedederal Polytechnic, Ukana

The National Board For Technical Education (NBTE) has granted accreditation to eight National Diploma courses at Federal Polytechnic, Ukana, Akwa Ibom State.

The courses accredited include ND Civil Engineering, ND Electrical/Electronic Engineering, ND Computer Engineering, and ND Science Laboratory Technology.

Others are ND Computer Science, ND Statistics, ND Accountancy, and ND Business Administration and Management.

This was contained in a statement signed by the institution’s Public Relations Officer, Manasseh Umoette, and obtained by our correspondent in Uyo on Wednesday.

Umoette said the approval, contained in a letter signed by the Director of Polytechnic Programmes, NBTE, Arc. Ogoh Ngbede, and addressed to the Rector, Dr. Uduak Sunday Ukekpe, was after a verification exercise by a visitation panel.

The statement in part, “The approval is sequel to the Resource Inspection/ Verification exercise embarked by the NBTE Visitation team in the Polytechnic between 13th and 14th July, 2022.”

He noted that the approval takes effect from the 2021/2022 academic session.
