The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has warned corp members to avoid late nights and other activities that could endanger their lives.

Director General, Brig.-Gen. Muhammad Fadah, issued the warning in his address at the closing ceremony of the 2022 Batch ‘B’ (Stream II) corp members in Ondo State.

The DG, who was represented by the Ondo State Coordinator, Mrs Victoria Ani, urged them to be security conscious at all times at their places of assignment.

He admonished corps members to avoid attending night/nocturnal parties, visitation of dangerous places and acceptance of car lifts from strangers.

“Meanwhile, we’re in constant liaison with security agencies and other stakeholders with the view to ensuring your safety as well as addressing other essential needs for a fulfilling service year,” he added.
