Award-winning Nigerian dancer and choreographer, Kafayat Shafau, popularly generally called Kaffy, has disclosed that she stopped sleeping alongside along with her husband three years sooner than they generally known as it quits.

The mother-of-two made this recognized in an interview with media persona, Chude Jideonwo, printed on Saturday.

Kaffy had triggered a stir on the Internet when she opened up about her divorce in January 2022.

In the latest interview, she claimed that her husband cheated on her alongside along with her most interesting buddy and she or he started therapeutic when she stopped sleeping alongside along with her husband.

“Let me tell you when I started healing; when I stopped sleeping with my husband,” she said.

Kaffy added, “I was celibate in my marriage for three years before getting a divorce.”

According to her, she understood that marriage was an alignment of process.

“There are different kinds of red flags that we women in love are so blinded by,” the dancer well-known.

She added, “I was thinking in the beginning that I have found someone else that would make me happy. That’s the most selfish thinking that any human being can have for another human being.”

Kaffy moreover opened up regarding the house violence that prevailed in her mom and father’ marriage.

She well-known that her mom and father used sharp objects like knives and forks as soon as they’ve been stopping.

The dancer well-known that at some extent, she and her siblings wanted to cowl sharp objects within the house to avoid their mom and father from hurting each other.
